The terms
What you are buying, what it does, and what it does not. Short, and meant to be read.
Who you are dealing with
This service is run by Anna Vlasenko (ABN 42 183 713 603), of 6/6 Marne Street, Vaucluse NSW 2030, Australia. Write to us at hello@mygoodluck.app about anything here — including every place in the app that says “write to us”.
Payment is a separate matter. The card page is Stripe's, and under Stripe Managed Payments Stripe is the seller of record for your purchase: they take the payment, they calculate and remit any sales tax or VAT, and their name is what appears on your statement. We never see or hold your card details.
What a talisman here is
It is a made object with your own answers set into it: an emblem no one else has, its meaning, the words engraved around it, every mark on it read one by one, and a spell you speak once to awaken it. Waking it costs nothing. It comes with a ritual — one to five minutes of paced breathing with the emblem in front of you — which you may take as often as you like, for as long as you own it, at no further cost. It works the way a wedding ring or a lucky shirt works: through the act of making it, the intention you name, and the meaning you give it.
All of that is the emblem, and it is written for you at the moment you buy it. None of it exists before then, and there is nothing further to buy afterwards.
It is not a promise about the world. We do not claim it brings luck, changes an outcome, protects you from harm, improves your health, or makes you perform better. Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing here is a substitute for any of them. If you are unwell or in distress, please talk to a professional.
Saying this plainly costs the object nothing — that is a finding, not a disclaimer. It is why we say it.
Your account
You can make an account before you buy, or let one be made for you: if you pay as a guest, the email address you give at the till becomes your account, and that is where your emblems live.
An address that already has an account is never opened by a payment — we credit what you paid to the real owner of that address and send them a way in. A card proves a card, not a mailbox.
Keep your way in to yourself. An account is one person's. If you think someone else has reached it, write to us at hello@mygoodluck.appstraight away.
What you buy, and what it costs
One strike buys one emblem, and that is the only thing sold here. The price is stated before you pay, in US dollars, and the till shows it in your own currency with tax included. There is no subscription, nothing recurring, no credit balance, no tier and no second purchase — you buy a strike, the strike becomes a talisman, and that is the whole arrangement.
The price of a strike is $8.88. Until 30 September it is $5.95 — an opening offer of 33% off — and from 1 October it is $8.88. Whatever the screen says when you press the button is what is charged, and your receipt from Stripe is the record of it.
The strike is final
Each emblem is made once, in the moment you ask for it, from the sky of that moment. There are no re-rolls and no alternates to choose between — that is deliberate, and it is part of why the object works at all.
So before you pay you tell us expressly that you want it made immediately. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, that consent means you lose your 14-day right to withdraw once the making has begun — which is what you are asking for. We keep a record of that consent against the purchase.
If the forge fails
If something on our side breaks and no emblem is made, you are not charged for it — the failed attempt stops counting as delivered, so trying again costs nothing and the page says so before you press. You are never charged twice for one emblem.
If you would rather not try again, the same screen refunds you: it deletes the draft and puts the money back on the card you paid with, without asking us and without a reason. That usually reaches your bank within a few days.
If that fails too — if you were charged and there is no emblem and no strike — write to us at hello@mygoodluck.app and we will refund it or place it by hand. Nothing is lost that way.
Beyond that we do not refund an emblem you simply do not like, for the reason above: it was made for you, once, at your express request. That is about changing your mind, and it takes nothing away from your rights if something is actually wrong — see Your rights under Australian law below.
It is made by a machine, and we say so
The emblem and every word that comes with it — its name, its meaning, the Latin motto, the spell and the reading of each mark — are generated by an AI model from the answers you give, at the moment you buy. No artist draws it and no one writes it by hand.
That is the product, not a shortcut: it is what makes an emblem that exists for you and for nobody else possible at this price. But you should know it before you pay, and you should say so if you pass the image on somewhere that expects human-made work.
A model is not perfect. Words can come out awkward and a drawing can come out odd, and neither is a defect we refund — see above. What we do check for, before anything is made, is that nothing you have typed is used to produce something harmful.
What you may do with your emblem
It is yours. Keep it, print it, wear it, show it. What you may not do is resell the service or pass your account around, and you may not use this service to make anything that targets or harasses another person.
We keep what we need to run the thing — your emblems stay in your vault, and we may hold copies for backup and for keeping the service working.
Fair use
Do not automate against this service, do not try to mint strikes you have not paid for, and do not attempt to reach another bearer's account. We may close an account that does.
Age
This is for people aged 16 or over. Do not use it if you are younger.
Changes, and endings
This is a young service and it will change. If these terms change in substance we date the new version and ask you again before your next purchase; what you already bought is not affected.
You can delete your account and everything in it from the You page, at any time, without asking us. We may close an account that breaks the fair-use clause above.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law — and where anything here conflicts with it, the law wins.
Under that law, what we sell must be supplied with due care and skill, must be fit for any purpose we described, and must match the description we gave it. If we fail one of those you are entitled to a remedy, and for a major failure that includes a refund. Write to us and we will sort it out.
What that does not cover is changing your mind. An emblem made for you at your request, exactly as described, is not a failure — see the strike is final, above.
Liability
We give this service as it is, and we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Subject to the clause above and to the fullest extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us.
Nothing here limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The law that applies
These terms run under the law of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the law where you live, and it does not stop you bringing a claim there.
These words are version 2026-08-28c. When they change in substance the version changes with them, and you are asked again.
